Synopsis[]
Still doubting Ethan, Harper gets real during a wine tasting trip with Cam and Daphne. Meanwhile, Tanya and Portia embark on a whirlwind two-day excursion to Palermo with Quentin and Jack, Albie navigates a misunderstanding with Lucia, and Valentina decides to make a staffing change to get a flirtatious Rocco away from Isabella.
Plot Summary[]
Ethan admits the truth to Harper about the condom wrapper. The couples embark on a wine-tasting excursion, with Harper's increasing inebriation leading to subtle hints about her awareness of recent events. Ethan confronts Cameron's habit of pursuing women that Ethan is interested in, accusing him of "mimetic desire." Throughout the day, Harper's actions chip away at Ethan's confidence and he becomes more and more agitated. At dinner, Cameron discreetly touches Harper's leg causing further tension.
Meanwhile, Albie faces an unexpected request when Lucia seeks payment for their previous night's encounter. Dominic attempts to discourage Albie and Lucia from pursuing their connection, despite Albie's apparent attraction to her. Lucia becomes entangled with a man named Alessio, whom she claims to owe money. Albie and Lucia sleep together again that night.
Mia, sensing Valentina's sexual orientation, proposes a deal involving sexual favors in exchange for Giuseppe's piano performance while he recovers.
Tanya and Portia's venture to Palermo with Quentin and his friends. While Quentin accompanies Tanya to a performance at the Teatro Massimo, Jack and Portia go off to explore local cuisine. Later that evening when everyone is asleep, Tanya wanders through the house and sees a shocking scene with Jack and his "uncle" Quentin having sex. She is confused and quietly wanders back to her room.
