Plot Summary[]
Late at night, Jaclyn and Kate continue their conversation about Laurie. They discuss her difficult divorce and mention that her daughter has been expelled from two schools due to aggressive behavior. Laurie is a high-level corporate lawyer but was passed over for a promotion to partner. As they talk, a visibly intoxicated Laurie suddenly pounds on their door looking for her phone charger, startling them.
The following morning, Piper practices yoga while Saxon remains in bed. At breakfast, Timothy appears irritable, whereas Victoria, in contrast, looks relaxed, commenting that she slept soundly. Timothy seems concerned about her increasing reliance on her Lorazepam pills. Kate briefly interacts with Victoria, recalling a past social event they both attended, but Victoria does not acknowledge remembering her. Kate is visibly unsettled, questioning whether she is forgettable. Lochlan criticizes his mother’s behavior calling it rude, but Victoria dismisses it, insisting she is on vacation and her only focus is her family.
Chelsea enrolls Rick in a stress management session at the spa, much to his chagrin. She also talks about Chloe, the model she met the previous night, who is dating Gary (aka Greg), and how they invited them to dinner. Rick is unimpressed with the invitation, but Chelsea insists they have things in common like being old and bald. At the spa, Victoria takes a pill before her massage, and an older man watches Piper during her yoga session. Saxon becomes physically aroused during his massage, while Timothy is preoccupied with failing to reach his business associate, Kenny. Belinda enjoys her massage with Pornchai, and Valentin flatters Laurie by telling her that her biometric readings resemble those of a much younger woman.
During Rick’s stress management session, he opens up about his past, revealing that his mother, a drug addict, died of an overdose when he was ten, and his father was murdered before his birth. He describes himself as emotionally drained. Back at the Ratliff family suite, Saxon is upset that his massage did not end as he had hoped (with a happy ending) and loudly searches for a blender to make a protein shake. Meanwhile, Timothy remains tense over work. Elsewhere, Belinda prepares to give Pornchai a massage, but he removes most of his clothing, revealing a toned physique, and surprises Belinda in a good way.
Gaitok directly expresses his feelings for Mook during lunch, but she reminds him that they have never even been on a date. He then asks her out, but she laughs off the suggestion playfully. Later, Laurie and Jaclyn compare notes on their experiences with Valentin, realizing he told them both the same flattering statement about their biometric results, while Kate only received an average rating. Jaclyn shares that she stays fit because she is married to a younger man named Harrison and describes their relationship as highly passionate. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Chloe spend time together on the beach. Chloe contacts Gary and persuades him to let her use his credit card. She also notices Saxon walking by and finds him attractive.
Piper and Lochlan relax in hammocks in the ocean and talk about spirituality. During the conversation, Lochlan mentions that Saxon claimed Piper has never had sex. She is offended and disgusted that her brother is talking about her in this way. Meanwhile, Chelsea and Chloe visit the hotel jewelry store, where Gaitok, distracted by a conversation with Valentin, fails to notice a suspicious car entering through the security gate. A masked individual exits the car and holds up the store at gunpoint. Chelsea hides in fear as the thief smashes display cases and grabs jewelry before fleeing. Gaitok attempts to stop him but is struck on the head with the gun before the robber escapes.
After the robbery, emergency responders tend to Gaitok, while Chelsea, still shaken, runs into Rick’s arms. Gaitok appreciates Mook’s concern, especially when she calls him brave. That evening, Chelsea and Rick have an uncomfortable dinner with Chloe and Greg. Greg mentions that he and Chloe met in Dubai through a matchmaking service, which annoys Chloe when he incorrectly claims she is French rather than from Quebec. At the Ratliffs’ table, Piper lashes out at Saxon, demanding he stay out of her personal life. Victoria reminisces about how her own brother bullied her when they were younger but reassures Piper that they eventually became close. Elsewhere, Belinda scans the dining room and notices Greg, though she does cannot place where she knows him from.
During dinner, Timothy steps away to take a call from Kenny, who is in a panic. Kenny informs him that federal agents have just raided his office and that he is now at risk of imprisonment. Timothy demands to know if he is implicated, and Kenny confirms that he is. Frustrated, Timothy laments that he only made $10 million from the deal. He then threatens Kenny, warning him not to betray him, stating that if he does, he will kill him.
Later that night, Jaclyn goes to bed early, leaving Laurie and Kate to gossip about her. They speculate about cosmetic procedures she may have had and make remarks about her younger husband, Harrison. In Rick and Chelsea’s room, Rick announces that he needs to leave for Bangkok for a few days to take care of something. Meanwhile, at the Ratliff suite, Timothy looks deeply troubled as he makes phone calls to secure a lawyer, all while watching his family return to the room, unaware of his situation.
