Kitty Patton is a former guest of the White Lotus resort in Maui. She visited the resort to see her son, Shane and her daughter-in-law, Rachel, on their honeymoon.

Kitty is Shane's mother who surprises him and shows up at the White Lotus Resort & Spa Maui to surprise his son and his new wife on their honeymoon. She tries not to impose but ends up imposing quite a bit.
