Backstory[]
At some point in time, Jim met Gloria Hatchett, and with her, fathered a son, Rick Hatchett.[1]
Season 3[]
Jim Hollinger is Sritala Hollinger's husband who lives in Thailand and is very ill. He was at the center of Rick’s investigation and emotional journey. A former American who built a powerful life in Thailand, Jim was suspected of having Rick’s father killed. When confronted, he offered cryptic responses—never explicitly admitting guilt, but not denying a ruthless approach to obstacles in his past. He eventually revealed that he had known Rick’s mother and, according to Sritala, was Rick’s biological father. Before more clarity could be given, Rick shot him and he died.
