Greg Hunt is a former guest of the White Lotus resort in Maui and the resort in Taormina, Sicily. He was married to Tanya McQuoid-Hunt until her death. He later met and began dating Chloe, with whom he began living with in Thailand. The two often visited the White Lotus resort in Ko Samui, Thailand for food and drinks.

While at the Thailand resort, Greg encountered Belinda Lindsey, who recognized him from his time in Maui. Aware of his ties to Tanya, Belinda and her son, Zion, eventually convinced Greg to pay them five million dollars to keep quiet about his business. After the money was transferred, Belinda and Zion left Thailand.

Season 1[]

Greg is a sport fisherman staying at the White Lotus resort on Maui. He asks Tanya McQuoid, another guest, out to dinner. Tanya, who has come to spread her mother's ashes, initially plans to have dinner with Belinda Lindsey, the spa manager, to discuss a possible wellness business proposal.

However, Tanya cancels her dinner plans with Belinda after Greg asks her out. Despite Tanya's emotional struggles, Greg expresses interest in her and is undeterred by her admission of being an emotional wreck.

Greg opens up about his terminal illness to Tanya who decides to help him financially to get the treatment he needs.

Season 2[]

Greg arrives at the White Lotus resort in Sicily along with his wife Tanya. Greg's dissatisfaction with his marriage becomes evident as he arrives at the resort with Tanya. His anger grows when he discovers that Tanya brought her young assistant, Portia, along for the romantic getaway. Tanya orders Portia to remain in her room and out of sight, trying to appease Greg while retaining Portia's services.

Greg has to suddenly depart from the resort to fly back to Denver for work, which adds a layer of tension to his relationship with Tanya. His unexpected exit leaves Tanya feeling upset and seeking support from Portia, revealing the complexities of their marriage and the emotional turmoil within the couple.

Between Season 2 and Season 3[]

Greg, using the name Gary, met Chloe in Dubai.^[1] At some point, the two began dating.^[2]

Season 3[]

Greg, who goes by Gary now, dates Chloe and lives with her in a house up the road from the White Lotus Thailand. However, he gets recognized by Belinda who started to connect the dots between him and the mysterious death of Tanya. Later, Greg made a surprise offer to Belinda: $100,000, claiming Tanya had wanted to make amends by supporting her spa dream. Belinda didn’t accept right away, and Zion helped negotiate for a much larger sum. Though Greg resisted at first, he ultimately transferred five million dollars to Belinda as hush money to protect himself from further scrutiny.
