Biography[]
Season 3[]
Gaitok works at the White Lotus Resort & Spa Thailand as a guard at the gate. He is initially presented as a passive hotel staffer grappling with the ethics of loyalty, justice, and self-worth. Initially focused on doing his job well, he became suspicious of Valentin’s involvement in a robbery and later identified Vlad as a perpetrator. Torn between reporting what he knew and protecting himself, Gaitok sought advice and spiritual clarity.
He is good friends with Mook, whom is from his village, and he is romantically interested in her. He finally gets the guts to ask her out and they eventually go on a date, however it's apparent Mook is only interested in an ambitious and strong Gaitok not a passive and peaceful one.
When the confrontation between Rick and Jim escalated into violence, Gaitok made a decisive choice—at Sritala’s urging, he shot and killed Rick. This act earned him a promotion to Sritala’s personal driver and finally gained him Mook’s respect.
