Chelsea was a guest at the White Lotus resort in Thailand. She went to the resort with her boyfriend, Rick Hatchett. The two were killed there during a shootout between Rick, the bodyguards of Jim and Sritala Hollinger, and Gaitok.

Backstory[]
At some point, Chelsea began dating Rick Hatchett. Together, they visited Bali, Indonesia, Costa Rica, and Mexico.[1]
Season 3[]
Shortly before arriving with Rick at the White Lotus resort in Thailand, Rick's smoking upset Timothy Ratliff. Later, after an argument with Rick, Chelsea went to the bar, where she met Chloe, who had also had an argument, with Greg Hunt.[1]
Chelsea began the trip in a fractured relationship with Rick, trying to reach him emotionally while he remained distant and consumed by his mission. Throughout the trip, she was pursued by Saxon, but she remained loyal to Rick despite growing frustrations. She reunited joyfully with Rick when he returned from Bangkok, believing they had a fresh start. However, her optimism was shattered when Rick acted on impulse and killed Jim, setting off the violent chain of events. Chelsea was shot in the ensuing chaos and died in Rick’s arms.
