Biography[]
Season 1[]
Armond is the manager of the White Lotus resort on Maui. Throughout the series, Armond interacts with a range of wealthy patrons, including guests like Shane Patton and his wife Rachel, who are on their honeymoon, as well as the Mossbacher family and Olivia and her friend Paula.
Armond's stress is palpable as he deals with the demands of his role, such as managing booking errors and addressing guests' complaints. However, he grapples with personal issues, leading to a relapse from his five-year sobriety, marked by his return to drinking and drug use. This downward spiral culminates in his flirting with hotel staffer Dillon and disclosing his own homosexuality to Mark Mossbacher, offering sexual advances.
The tension between Armond and Shane escalates due to Shane's relentless complaints and fixations, which further strain their relationship. Amid his personal struggles, Armond misses Lani's water breaking, resulting in her going into labor while guests are dining. As his personal issues mount, he fails to provide the level of service expected of his position.
Armond's missteps continue to compound, as he keeps a bag of drugs that were left behind by Olivia and Paula, leading him down a path of drug use and further complications. His actions become increasingly questionable, including engaging in a sexual encounter with Dillon, using drugs, and propositioning Mark.
Ultimately, a series of events and unethical choices result in Armond's dismissal from his role as the resort's manager. He reaches a tragic conclusion when he attempts to defecate in Shane's shoes in his suite. However, he is accidentally killed by Shane, who, mistaking Armond for an intruder, defends himself with a pineapple knife.
