Plot Summary[]
Lochlan remains enthusiastic about joining the monastery with Piper, though she expresses hesitation and tries to dissuade him. At breakfast, Timothy supports Piper’s plan, emphasizing a simpler lifestyle, though Piper confesses the conditions at the monastery are uncomfortable. She becomes emotional, and Victoria comforts her, relieved that her daughter is more like her than she thought.
Saxon declines Lochlan’s offer to talk over smoothies, referencing the previous awkward encounter between them. Lochlan explains that he was trying to make Saxon feel included, but Saxon tells him to drop the subject permanently. Meanwhile, Timothy, still disturbed by the family’s attachment to materialism, questions Lochlan about living without money. After Lochlan affirms he could, Timothy returns to the suite and inquires about the poisonous fruit near their room, learning that its seeds can be lethal when ground up. He then prepares the seeds for use.
That evening, Timothy consumes the last of Victoria’s pills and arranges for piña coladas to be delivered to their room, excluding Lochlan due to his age. He prepares the drinks, laced with poison fruit, and offers a heartfelt toast. Though he encourages the family to drink, he ultimately changes his mind, stopping Saxon from finishing his drink and removing the others before they are fully consumed. However, the blender still contains the seed residue.
The next morning, unaware of the danger, Lochlan makes a smoothie using the same blender and becomes ill shortly after drinking it. He vomits and collapses, experiencing visions of his family and a near-death sensation. Timothy finds him and calls for help. Lochlan survives the incident.
Meanwhile, Rick wakes up in a hotel room in Bangkok where Frank has invited several women over. Rick declines to stay and returns to the resort, reuniting with Chelsea on the beach. Saxon, who has developed feelings for Chelsea, witnesses the reunion. At dinner, Chelsea speaks optimistically about her and Rick's future and he finally returns that optimism.
Gaitok tells his supervisor about Valentin’s possible involvement in the robbery. He later questions Valentin directly, who pleads for his silence. Gaitok considers resigning, and Mook reacts with disappointment, canceling their plans.
Jaclyn extends an olive branch to Laurie by inviting her to breakfast and apologizing for her actions. Laurie reconnects with the group at dinner and shares details of her night with Aleksei. Kate reflects on their enduring friendship. Laurie opens up about her recent emotional struggles and acknowledges the value of their long-standing bond. The group survives the shootout at the resort without injury.
Belinda tells Zion about her spa plans, and he encourages her to negotiate a higher payout from Greg. They meet with Greg, and Zion requests five million dollars, citing Tanya’s wealth. Though Greg initially refuses, Zion leaves banking details in case he changes his mind. The next day, Belinda discovers the full amount has been wired to her account. She fulfills her part of the agreement, then informs Pornchai she is leaving Thailand, abandoning their spa plans and greatly disappointing him.
During breakfast, Jim Hollinger arrives, confronts Rick, and reveals that he did know Rick’s mother. He insults both of Rick’s parents and is armed, preventing Rick from retaliating. Chelsea attempts to calm Rick, who then seeks out Amrita. When Rick spots Jim posing for photos with Jaclyn, he becomes enraged, takes Jim’s gun, and shoots him. Sritala then reveals that Jim was Rick’s father. A shootout ensues, during which Rick kills both bodyguards but Chelsea is hit by a bullet. Rick tries to save her but is shot and killed by Gaitok, who acts under Sritala’s orders. Both Rick and Chelsea fall into the water, dead.
Gaitok earns him a promotion to Sritala’s personal driver, which gains him Mook’s approval. The others leave the White Lotus.
As the Ratliffs return by boat, they regain access to their phones. Timothy, now more at peace, warns them that significant changes lie ahead, but reassures them they will face it together.
